In 2011 the program was dedicated to supporting Hurricane Irene and Alabama Tornado victims by providing toys to families in need during the Christmas season.
This year Celebs Give Back has teamed up with sponsors throughout the USA, and would like to continue and concentrate on group homes, foster children, homeless and low income family. The number of families asking for Christmas assistance is expected to increase due to the slow rising economy and tragic job loss. When you consider the large number of evacuees, evictions, foreclosed homes, homeless and single parents, nearly 14 million U.S. children and low-income families are living below the federal poverty level.
“CGB” has developed a broad base of celebrities, business owners, and collaborators dedicated to supporting its mission in Atlanta, GA, Houston, TX, Montgomery, AL, New Orleans, LA, and Los Angeles, CA. www.CELEBSGIVEBACK.org is setup to take applications starting October 1, 2016 for group homes, foster children, homeless and low income families. The deadline for applications is November 30, 2016. “Celebs Give Back” will dispatch toys during the week of December 20th to the approved families.
Celebs Give Back’s mission is to provide a central location for celebrities and business owners to unite for one great cause… OUR SUPPORTERS! “Whether it’s a natural disaster or providing relief to the less fortunate, we want our communities to know we support THEM TOO!!”
The vision of Celebs Give Back is to provide assistance to our communities, fans, and supporters around the globe causing us to impact families while creating lifelong influences strengthen generation to come.
